Most swamp and airboat tour companies do provide transportation to and from many French Quarter hotels. Please keep in mind that most swamp tours take place about 45 minutes to an hour and a half away from the French Quarter. It is recommended to call the tour company directly after booking to confirm the pick up time and location.

4. Are boat tours family friendly?

New Orleans boat tours are definitely a family friendly experience, and a great way to see New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Many airboat tours, however, do have some height restrictions, typically only allowing those who are 48 inches tall or taller to ride.
