It was an wonderful experience we really enjoyed the steamboat ride.
This was a awesome experience. Me and my girls really enjoyed . It was also a great learning experience
It was very easy to book this wonderful experience. The food was excellent and the jazz band was fun—so fun I got their CD. I have 2 suggestions: the tour company should advise the meal is served before departure and closes about 15 minutes after leaving the dock; and that if you have a mobile confirmation, you need to go to the window to obtain a physical ticket to board (I had to get out line). I would do this cruise again.

4-in-1 Ghost, Voodoo, Vampires & French Quarter Tour

4-in-1 Ghost, Voodoo, Vampires & French Quarter Tour

Duration2 Hrs.
New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and the French Quarter....
Jodi Dever was an incredible tour guide! Knowledgeable and funny, I would recommend this tour to anyone!!
Our guide was very neutral and gave us facts about the history. He was funny and did his best to get everyone involved in the tour. He asked us if we wanted the adult version of the tour and we replied yes because we had no kids. He seemed very knowledgeable about the buildings and happenings of the time! We heard good things about the tour and they where all correct!
We had Z (Zack) as our tour guide and he was so helpful! He was super insightful about spots where TV shows or movies were filmed. This was my first time in NOLA, and I’m so glad I learned more about the dark history of the city.

Combining both food history and cocktail history, this Cocktail and Food Combo Walking Tour is a feast for the senses!...
So much fun. Great food & history. Tour guide was amazing. I'd do it again in a heart beat.
This was a great experience! It was the perfect combination of food/drinks/history/comedy. If you’re on the fence about doing this tour you should just book it, you won’t regret it. Doctor Gumbo the tour guide was so very engaging and personable and made it super enjoyable!
While we have done several walking tours in Nola, most spooky related, this time we opted for the Doctor Gumbo Combo tour and we were SO glad we did. The tour was exceptionally interesting and informative. We were stuffed by the end of the adventure and were laughing and enjoying cocktails with the members of our small group. Doctor Gumbo himself was our guide made the experience one that we will sign up for again on our next weekend in the Big Easy!

DJ was knowledgeable and snarky. We had a great time and some amazing drinks. He told stories, suggested drink options, answered questions, and had a fun demeanor. He also recommended the beat tamales I've ever eaten!
The experience was awesome! DJ was very knowledgable and entertaining. We all loved it.

Giselle the tour guide was prompt, knowledgeable, funny with a sweet laugh, showed concern re her guests being warm and dry on swamp airboat tour, artistic. Best all day excursions to start with swamp tour then the plantations with lunch. High class tour
Wonderful time with Giśele. Very knowledgeable and answered questions. Saw plenty of gators and wildlife. Would recommend. Ask for Giśele.
Our bus driver gave us some great stories about the cities and the culture. We had amazing food for lunch which was a buffet. We went to 2 plantations, Oak Alley plantation and Laura Plantation. Both plantations were breath taking, however, our tour guide at the Laura plantation was so passionate about the history she really brought the experience to life. I want to give kudos to Lindie our Laura guide. Highly recommended

New Orleans Food Demo - Crawfish Etouffee, Shrimp & Artichoke Soup, and Bread Pudding

Taste the food, fun, and folklore of authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine at The New Orleans School of Cooking, ranked as...
Pat did an amazing job of sharing New Orleans rich history while teaching us the delicious dishes she made. Wonderful morning of food and fun!
Our chef Pat was just great, giving us great cooking tips as well as a history of New Orleans food culture. The whole experience was very enjoyable, including chatting with other guests at round tables. When you figure that you also get lunch, we felt it was a good value. For me as a celiac (can't eat wheat/flour), the eating part was a bit unsatisfying. The 'dietary restriction' meal seemed to be the same for vegetarian or celiac. So I was served a veggie gumbo and a veggie creole sauce on rice. Meh. This is the only part of things that could be a lot better.
Every year during our annual vacation, we book the 10:00 cooking school. Each year it is a different chef instructing. It is entertaining, educational, you get instruction sheets on how it is being made, then after watching the chef prepare it, you get to eat it! You learn about local food tradition and history of the people that brought those food traditions into the area. I highly recommend this activity even if you don’t do the cooking in your household.

Such a lovely set up and a great value for the money.
A lovely old world characterful restaurant. Pleasant staff, traditional food, although main course somewhat too salty for my taste. An accident with red wine by the waiter did not spoil the meal.
