Get ready for the excitement of the swamp! Airboat Adventures provides a thrilling insider's view into the wild swamps...
Ronnie, our "pilot" was hilarious and he gave us a great history run down on the swamp and activities involved in the area. He backed up a lot of the history with personal photos and artifacts. The absolute highlight of the trip, believe it or not, was getting stuck on a grassed over mud bar and having to be rescued. Ronnie called two other boats in to the rescue and they arrived within minutes. If someone had played "Flight of the Valkyries" as the two boats arrived, that would have just been the icing on the cake. It took a little time to get us off the bank with the other two boats pushing us and manipulating the boat, but we got free and after Ronnie's colleagues reveled in the situation at the cost of a few crates of beer from Ronnie, we got underway and continued the trip. I would recommend the trip to anyone. The bus trip to and from the boat ride was great as well. The driver gave us some of the history on areas we passed through on the way to and from the boat
Ronnie was the best guide! He definitely is the Real Deal! The ride and views were spectacular! Can't recommend this more highly! Thanks for the great ride!
Our tour guide was Ronnie he was a lot of fun! He was also very knowledgeable and told us lots of information! We would definitely recommend the tour.

Brandon was amazing he was full of information and interesting facts. We have recommended it to several people at our hotel. The stairway to heaven was gorgeous and we caught some interesting pictures there. We had a blast definitely a trip to remember! I would highly recommend Brandon we’ve takin a few tours and he was the best by far!
Our tour guide Steven was so much fun, he kept us laughing all night. I'm so glad we got him
At the end of our trip, after a lot of long nights “enjoying” in Nola, this was a really fun and interesting thing to do. Loved our guide!

The bus driver was funny and knowledgeable and very helpful!
The good: The tour guides were nice. Bus drivers were knowledgeable. Plantation was beautiful and informative. The bad: our hotel pickup was late and unbeknownst to us, we were holding up a van load of other tourists so when we got on the bus, the displeasure was noticeable. The driver kept mentioning our late arrival and impact to the time at the plantation. I have no idea why our pickup was late.
Rose, our plantation guide was great. So full of history and fun facts. She was as good as our driver back was bad. Our bus driver was horrible, loud, yelled at passengers to get off the bus. She had on headphones while driving.

Immerse yourself in Louisiana's backcountry bayous and wetlands at the historical Manchac Swamp. Venture where creatures...
Funny boat captain dan gators everywhere kinda of off the beaten path and alittle beat up from the elements but worth the money and the bus driver ended up taking us back saving us money on an uber!
The captain was very knowledgeable about the culture, folk lore and the facts of Louisiana swamps as well as the wild life. The tour was about 2 hours in length. We saw wild pigs, racoon families, and of course alligators and turtles of all kinds. We got to hold a live baby alligator and they also passed around a few different types of live turtles. I really recommend it for anyone who wants an up close look into real authentic louisiana bayou's. Whether you are from the Louisiana or not it's a great experience for all ages.
This tour was excellent! The captain knew every critter in the swamp, and we saw more gators than we could have hoped for! Well worth the ticket price!

Hop in the car and head to New Orleans Plantation Country, and visit two historical plantations at a leisurely pace....
All the guides were super helpful and informative
We really enjoyed learning some of the history of the 2 plantations. They were both beautiful
Oak Alley and Laura are two plantations that are a must see in Louisiana! Oak Alley is incredibly beautiful and Laura has some fascinating stories. Both portray an honest depiction of the lives of the owners and slaves before and after the civil war.
