What a fun time we had! The crew members couldn’t have been nicer. The only drawback was NOLA had a ban on live music so no Jazz band on board.
The steamboat hatches with lunch was our favorite part of our trip to NOLA. Highly reccomend it to anyone considering this activity.
Nice tour with good, interesting narration. Fun to see the city and the river from this perspective. We didn’t do the lunch add-on, so can’t comment on that. Disembarkation process could be streamlined/managed better. Got a bit jammed up. Overall, thumbs up.

The tour was amazing, the tour guide was super friendly and he was very knowledgable about the property and the vast history of the home. He made it fun and enjoyable for everyone in the group!
This was my second time visiting Houmas House and it was even better than the last! We decided to start with lunch first at Cafe Burnside and omg it was incredible. The buffet is worth every single penny! The fried catfish was literally the best I've ever had and the bread pudding should have some kind of award! After we stuffed ourselves silly, we met up with our tour guide, Suzanna. She rang the bell and started our tour off with a bang! When you enter the house, it's like hearing that "AAAAAaaaaaaAHHHHHH" theme music. It's so gorgeous inside. I love all the stories that are told about the home and its' antiques, art and artifacts. Esp the vampire slayer kit from anne rice! This home is handicap accessible as well as are the grounds. The grounds actually remind me of a botanical garden. Go check this place out and ask for Suzanna as your tour guide, you won't be disappointed!
Our tour guide was awesome. I think her name was Sue Ellen, Bobby Sue, or something like that. Super knowledgable, super friendly, made the whole experience come to life for my wife and i. Thank you for a great experience.

My husband and I booked this cruise and we were so pleased with it. Very romantic, friendly people, really clean and organized. And OMG, the food! We had the best Seafood pasta we've ever had! We had a blast.
Amazing tour with our guide “Tic-Tok” we saw a lot of gators and he passed on some good info about the swamp. We had a great time.
The cruise was on time, very interesting and relaxing. The food was really good. I was really satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely do it again.

This was awesome! Learned lots about the bayou. Had a fun guide that answered lots of questions. First time in an airboat but I have taken boat tours many times. Would definitely do this tour again in warmer month to see more alligator activity.

We had Harriet as our chef/teacher for this 2.5hr course. She was engaging, funny, delightful, and answered all of our questions. Her stories were appropriate and worked with the time involved with cooking. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to New Orleans becuase it was by far the highlight of my trip! Thank you
History of the food that was demo was interesting. The gumbo and bread pudding were very good. Jambalaya not so much. Annoying, a few late comers for another activity walked through the demo kitchen while our chef was cooking. The class never officially ended or we didn't hear him say thanks for coming. Chef Brandon left the area and went out to the store after making the pralines. The people in the class past the plate of pralines around the room ourselves and then followed Chef Brandon to the store.
Brandon was a wonderful instructor--lots of good tips plus he was quite the comedian --
