John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

The park was named after John D. Pennekamp, a former Miami Herald newspaper editor. Home to a number of animal species, aquatic plants, and a variety of birds, you can enjoy the park in many ways. The park features 47 campsites and designated spots for fishing, picnicking, and swimming.
