Departure Details: This charter departs from 210 U.S. 98, Destin, FL 32541. The boat is located at Fishing Fleet Marina behind the restaurant Brotula's. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to check-in at the Sweet Jody booth that can be found on the right side of a blue building. The charter departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Sweet Jody Fishing, at 850-650-2500.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is always appreciated and encouraged to tip.

Captain and deckhand Gary made an excellent team. Both very personable. The captain ensured that everybody had a great experience and caught a variety of fish (trigger, mingo, white snapper).  Unfortunately, despite the captains efforts, no red snapper - but that’s fishing!  Second mate Gary, worked very hard doing …EVERYTHING! Untangling lines, cleaning the deck, baiting hooks, unhooking fish, answering questions etc!!  

We recommended this charter to friends that are visiting. Looking forward to coming back. 10-12 on board - not including capt & Gary. 6hr trip was plenty of time, could actually do more!! 

Bottom line: 10/10, would recommend to a friend. Fun for novice to more seasoned fisherman.

Tons of fish

I enjoyed my first time deep sea fishing. Unfortunately, I did not understand that leaning pole on the rail would prevent me from feeling the fish bites on my pole.

The captain was very transparent and honest about the fishing conditions.  “Sporty”.  The opportunity for a refund was fair and kind.  Although no one took him up on the offer, I bet a few wished they had.   3-6 ft seas had a handful of people chumming early.  
The fishing was good!  The deck hands very helpful and knowledgeable.  Overall a really great day and wonderful experience.  I will be coming back if I ever get back to Destin!

My 13 year old grandson caught an 18 lb Black Grouper. Best day of his life, which made it one of mine too. Definitely one for the books. Can't recommend the Reel Grace more. Captain Cliff and his son Austin made our Destin trip one we won't forget.

Fishing trip

Best fishing trip ever.
We were punctually greeted by Captain Robert upon arrival to the marina, and he promptly helped us onto his clean, comfortable and well equipped boat.
We were given a brief and informative safety orientation, and were seated in a comfortable loveseat right in front of the console.
Captain Robert then proceeded to exit the marina and safely took us out a few miles to the first of half a dozen or so fishing spots..
We were able to catch our limit of red snapper in just 30 minutes or so!
We then went to the other spots and were usually catching and releasing most of the fish but were catching them nonstop most of the time. Captain Robert was close by to unhook and release our fish and rebait our hooks as needed, all the while explaining the types of fish and whether or not we could keep them.
We definitely got our fill of fishing for the day and learned a lot from Captain Robert, plus when we got back to the marina, he fillet’s our fish and ziplock bagged them for us!
You couldn’t ask for a better time than we had, and we’ll definitely look you guys up for our next fishing adventure..
