Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to check-in at the Sweet Jody booth that can be found on the right side of a blue building. The charter departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Sweet Jody Fishing, at 850-650-2500.

Great day for family fishing. If you get motion sick at all, this might not be the best decision for you. We all took medicine and 3 out of 6 of us were very ill. This was not the crews fault, just something to consider. Might be due to the bigger boat. Great day and great time!

Great fishing tour

The captain was very transparent and honest about the fishing conditions.  “Sporty”.  The opportunity for a refund was fair and kind.  Although no one took him up on the offer, I bet a few wished they had.   3-6 ft seas had a handful of people chumming early.  
The fishing was good!  The deck hands very helpful and knowledgeable.  Overall a really great day and wonderful experience.  I will be coming back if I ever get back to Destin!

Definitely worth every penny

Captain as great and the boat was clean and stocked with what we needed but Ine of the two guys working the boat had a bad attitude making it the worst deep sea fishing trip I ever had. 

One guy was awesome. He was friendly and understanding when lines got crossed but the other was acting like we were a problem for being there.  We dropped the lines straight down as instructed but our lines got tangled (we were not the only ones) several times because the fish try and run with the bait and of course the water movement, but he literally blamed us every time. In a sarcastic or smart-elek  tone. Told me not to sit, fishing is not a sitting sport even  after I informed him that I have Parkinson’s Disese and was losing my balance due to the rough waters. Once he was coming behind us and he kicked our chum bucket on purpose. Made a statement that that we were the common denominator on the tanglement issues. A few times we needed a fish taken off and he was busy fishing himself off the back of the boat. 

I had 3 of my sons (2 adult) with me for their first fishing experience and this guy was the only bad thing we experienced but for 2 hrs he made us feel unwelcomed and a problem.

Had a great time caught some nice fish! Went through a thunderstorm, got a little wet, but that all added to the amazing experience! Crew was amazing! Highly recommend

I’ve been in deep sea fishing trips many times in last 20 years. This trip was the worst. Fishing took hardly 1.5 hour out of 6 hour trip. Senior “mate” demanded tips all the time. Cleaned fish was sold back to anglers, in addition to the tips. Two of 4 mates were very junior and could not do their job. Anglers had to unhook fish themselves most of the time. The boat was cleaned with smelly detergent during the trip. Anglers were forced inside a very tight cabin, many of them were standing as there was no space. Add high waves and high heat during summer time. This torcher should not cost $110/ person.

Will never come again

Captain and Crew did a great job. We fished several spots and everyone came off the boat with a stringer full. Ours were prepped and cooked at nearby restaurant within minutes. Can’t beat it.

Excellent Experience

The trip was great. I failed to select the correct date and realized it soon after I booked. I called Tripshock and they said they could not help me and said I needed to call the actual company that the trip was with. I called, spoke with Sunny and she was very nice and helpful. She got us booked on the proper day and even switched it from an afternoon trip to a morning trip which we preferred. We had a great time, caught some fish and enjoyed them for dinner that night. Overall great trip.

I want say I enjoyed this because I would be lying, my daughter and I got sea sick. However, the boat, captain and crew were top notch. If you’ve never done this before take something for motion sickness before your trip and choose Sweet Jody!

It was so amazing! Colton, Gary, the captain all were phenomenal! They took us to the perfect spots! We would fish and it seemed like the whole boat was catching (more than 10 people). We were properly taught how to fish and also given help when we struggled. They took care of cleaning and filleting our fish. The crew were personable and made sure we had a great time. I would highly recommend and would go again!

We did the morning 6 hour trip with a group of 5 adults and loved the experience. The boat ride was so pretty and the crew was fantastic. What a fun trip! Kolton and Gary were amazing deck hands! Very tentative, knowledgeable and fun! Captain had us on fish almost right away! We also seen dolphins and a huge sea turtle. I was the only gal on the boat and man did I have a blast out fishing the boys lol

I was recommended the swoop party boat from my sister who has been on several different deep sea trips. She said this one was the best and let me tell you that they did NOT disappoint! My son is an avid (freshwater) fisher. He is now convinced that saltwater fishing is the best thing ever lol. The crew is amazing! Myself and 2 friends went out with captain Ryan and we had a blast! I will definitely be using them again!

My trip was fantastic!

Thank you Connor and Captain Barry for a memorable morning.  We're a group of 5 total amateurs and had a blast.  We tried a couple different techniques aimed at snapper, had to make a getaway from some weather (the onboard weather radar was a big deal here), spent some time further offshore trawling for tuna, and finally went back for some more snapper before heading in.  This is all in about 4 hours.  They even took the time to show us how their fish-finder worked so we could read the screen.  We ended up catching at least 6 species, keepers for 4 of them, meat to feed a party of 14 for 2 nights, and that's not including the throw-backs.  Lots of kodak moments.  Highly recommend, and I wouldn't hesitate to go again.
