We had a great time!! Worth every single penny. Initially, I was concerned about the amount of people that would be on the boat with us… IT WAS PERFECT! There was plenty of room for the large number that went out with us!! The mates on the boat were so helpful with my teenage daughter and baiting her hook . They took the time to explain what she needed to do and helped her along the way…They def put us on the fish, we caught several trigger fish, red snapper, mingo (vermilion), a couple Benita and anything else that was biting!!! Brought home a huge bag of filets!!! 10/10 would recommend for anyone. Deep sea fishing was on our family’s “summer bucket list” and they did not disappoint! Weather was amazing too, which def helped!! Kudos!!!

The captains and deckhands are absolutely amazing. This is a party boat with that being said all the mates were working diligently around the boat to keep everyone baited and fishing.

Ok the boat was ok it has tears seats no Bluetooth stereo. They have. A separate Bluetooth speaker on site boat want new but we had a good time

We had a great time. The crew was nice and very helpful. We had to move 3 times to get on good fishing, but the 3rd time was the charm. Lots of people got lots of fish, but while we caught 20ish fish only 2 were keepers. Not the crews fault just how it goes. We plan on going again new year.

My boys 11 and 15 had a great experience. Water was pretty rocky. A few people sick I cuddling myself but my boys had a blast. My oldest caught a huge Amberjack and my youngest caught a few red snappers. 7 fish all together kept , three 8 back.

The boat was very accommodating, the crew was courteous, very helpful and professional.. We caught fish and had an enjoyable time.

Booked this trip for my friends, my daughter and I and had a great time. Reading the listing before booking gave me an idea of what to expect, reading the confirmation voucher after booking gave me even more insight. The communication was perfect! I got a reminder text the day before from Tripshock AND Pelican Adventures with helpful tidbits that also confirmed that my boat was leaving the dock! We arrived on time, 45 mins early, checked in easily, Miss Vera is AWESOME, and boarded with no issues. The deckhands (all 5) gave out helpful instructions several times during our trip, before/during/after and our favorite was Layton because he was so patient and had such a gentle soul. The bait was a mix of mackeral and squid and our bait bucket was never empty. Our boat was full with 65 people so we did have a few tangled lines, but nothing major and everything was handled quicky. The boat stopped at 2 different fishing spots, the first spot didn't come up with alot of keepers so the boat was moved again a couple of miles away and this was a much better spot. We all took home fish! Definitely a family friendly boat, my daughter had a blast and we are already planning our next trip. Some tips would be to read ALL of your info, bring water, take motion sickness pills the night before if you're sensitive to that sort of thing, to be on time and bring cash to tip your deckhands with. My only complaint was that we let the deckhands fillet our catch and they had more bones in them that I would like (but to be fair I'm super picky). Next time I'll just bring them home and fillet them myself., not a huge ordeal, like I said, I'm picky. We hope to be back on the boat in October for the fishing rodeo!
