Geography

Lakeview is located in northwestern Logan County in west-central Ohio, directly on the western shore of Indian Lake. The village of Russells Point sits to the south along the lake's southwestern shore, and the two communities together form the primary commercial and residential hub of the Indian Lake region. The lake is fed by the North and South Forks of the Upper Great Miami River and was created as a reservoir in the 1850s, originally for canal water supply. US-33 and State Route 235 are the primary access roads.
