Departure details: Tour depart from 9975 Nance St, Calabash, NC 28467. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in. Tour departs on time. Departure address is subject to change. If the address is changed, the provider will notify you ahead of time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Hurricane Fishing Fleet, at 843-249-3571.
Directions from Myrtle Beach: Take Hwy 17 North through North Myrtle Beach over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge. Stay on Hwy 17 approx. 4 miles to the 5th traffic light. Go a quarter mile past the 5th traffic light. Turn right onto Hwy. 179 (just past the SC Welcome Center). Go 2 miles to 2nd traffic light in Calabash. Turn right on River Road. Follow road and bear right at Capt. Nance’s Restaurant. Keep on the paved road until it ends at the dirt parking lot. Guest will see the Hurricane Fleet Marina Sign, a Red and White Lighthouse, and the Hurricane Fleet ticket office behind Dockside Restaurant on the water.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is encouraged and appreciated to tip the crew 15-20%.

Very informative about the area, nice clean vessel. I love that they brought some huge shark teeth around for everyone to see. I would definitely do it again.

Hurricane Fleet Dolphin Cruise

Website said you could bring a small cooler but we weren’t allowed to bring a cooler nor a small backpack for our diabetic child.

Apparently the "inside air conditioning" was Not working properly. So basically No inside airconditioning with doors wide open. I have a heart condition and came close to passing out. My granddaughter couldn't cool off and got very sick. After I asked them to close the doors to cool things down and After the ship had left the dock Then I was told it wasn't working. Would definitely Not do this again And wouldn't have ar all if we had known there wasn't any air conditioning. I think that's called false advertising. I think we should be refunded for the 2 of us that got sick.

It was a nice ride. The captain started out a little bitter and said that we’d maybe go to the ocean maybe not, maybe see dolphins but maybe not, and no matter what— NO REFUNDS! I paid over $200 and they said the only way the workers get paid is through tips. Seems wrong to me.

Once we got out into the ocean there were so many dolphins great experience for myself and children. They even have food on the boat affordable!!

IT WAS GREAT THE CAPTAINS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FREINDLY EXCELLENT MY SONS AND I LOVE IT,

This is the main highlight of our entire trip. We took the Sea Thunder and the guides were amazing and very entertaining. We took the front row seat and we were soaking wet which also made it the best part of the trip. Although we didn't get to see the dolphins but we were given a gift card to ride again for free with no expiration! It is such a great experience and we'll be back for sure.

We recently went on a dolphin tour and had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to our boatman, Jacob. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was outstanding. He handled everything with confidence and professionalism—untied the boat smoothly, kept a sharp lookout for dolphins, and made sure everyone on board was having a great time.

Jacob was incredibly entertaining, helpful, and courteous throughout the entire tour. He had a natural presence on the water and handled the boat with the kind of comfort and awareness that made it clear he truly belongs out there. At times it honestly felt like he was one with the water and one with the boat—completely in his element.

What impressed us even more was hearing about his aspirations to become a captain one day. Based on what we saw, we have no doubt that he will excel in that role. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for the job make him someone with a very bright future ahead. If every tour had someone like Jacob running things, it would be hard for anyone to have a bad experience.

He made the entire trip memorable, and we left with nothing but outstanding enthusiasm for his future career as a captain.

Nice entertainment. Beautiful homes. Laid back environment. Limited seating outside. 2 huge dining rooms that were available throughout trip. If you want to sit outside, come early and skip the sandwich during the lunch time.

The experience of riding a fast moving boat, was exhilarating!  We were searching for a fun event & this boat ride was at the top of our list.  No disappointment with the ride. This was a amazing experience. It like like the Fast and furious meets  the water. It was fun and refreshing. The Captain Ben was very informative on the tour and taught me things I no clue about. Very educational. His shipmate Clara was so sweet and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this for those who like to do donuts and like speed and want to cool off.

My only complaint was the music coming through the speakers.  It's  so relaxing on the marsh it would have been nice to have some quie moments.  Loved the guide. His info was fun and well presented. The walk on the quiet beach was beautiful.
