Parking: Public parking is available at the Lagoon Motel located at 5915 North Lagoon Drive. 
Departure Details: The pontoon rentals are launched from behind the Lagoon Motel located at 5915 N Lagoon Dr Panama City, FL 32408. North Lagoon Drive is accessible from Thomas Drive, across the street from Captain Anderson's. Do not go to the Lighthouse marina location for pontoon boat rentals. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to departure time. It is best to confirm your booking at least 24 hours prior to your arrival date. For any issues, please contact the provider, FUNPCB, at 850-235-8051.
Boater's Test: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. You may take the test and obtain your license <a href="https://www.tripshock.com/boaterstest">here</a>. 
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip your tour guide.

There was a piece of the boat that was super sharp that was sticking out and the steering wheel was extremely hard to turn.

Great Day

The pontoon experience was great overall, there are some things that did not work. 
1. There are more restrictions on where you can take the boat. I wanted to go to Uncle Earnie’s and that was in the restricted area so I could not go
2. The location where the pontoon leaves from has a lot of shallow spots, so you have to be very careful not going thru it else you may damage the engine 
3. The accelerator of the boat did not stay locked, I had to continuously keep on holding it to keep it moving. 
4. The ladder was not folding ladder. It worked fine, but folding ladder provides more steps in the water and easier to climb. 
5. I got the boat at 1:30 pm instead of 1 pm since they had 9 departures at the same time. 

Apart from the shallow waters and restricted area nothing else bothered me too much. Overall I still had a great time. Booking thru trip shock was easy as well.

Amazing experience

Everything was smooth as far as renting the boat. The location was good. The staff were very friendly and gave us great instructions. I could not find any prices that were lower than your boats so I was very happy about that. Our grandkids had a ball and the water was gorgeous.

We had a great time on our boat ride to shell island. The price was very reasonable for the 1/2 day and we enjoyed being able to explore wherever we wanted with just our small group.  The boat was very clean and the staff answered all of our questions. Highly recommend.

When we got to checkin they sent us a link for waivers - we completed for all 7 passengers and were on the boat and ready to go within a matter of 10 minutes.  Owner helped us with instructions to Shell Island and we were on our way.  Nice, newer, beautiful boat that ran perfectly.   Not one complaint!!

Our snorkel and dolphin excursion was absolutely wonderful. Chelsea and Kelly did a wonderful job. They make a pretty sweet team and the whole family enjoyed the trip to shell island. Seeing dolphins jumping out of the water was the best part.

I had a great time shelling on shell island. The view of the white sand with billions of shimmering seashells was gorgeous. We also got to see Pelican Island and our captain was very friendly. He even took me back to shell island to get my phone that was found in the sand. Thanks Marcus for the great hospitality and memories! That was one hell of a boat ride!
