Parking: PARKING OPTION #1: Park inside the Baytowne Marina Parking Lot. To get to this parking lot, you must stop at the guard gate and ask the guard for a pass to the marina. Make your first right after the guard gate onto Baytowne Village Drive and proceed to the three way stop. Turn left onto Baytowne Ave. West to the Baytowne Marina and Tennis Center (8330 Mike Hayes Boulevard, Miramar Beach, Florida 32550, approx .25 miles on the left). If there is availability in the lot, please park and walk down the dock.
PARKING OPTION #2 Valet Park at the Baytowne Village and walk to the marina. The best walking path to take is the boardwalk that begins next to the Funky Blues Shack. Take this boardwalk to the marina dock. 
Departure Details: Activity departs from 8330 Mike Hayes Blvd., Miramar Beach, FL 32550. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled cruise time to check-in at the Sol Y Luna, docked in the Baytowne Marina inside of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. If you parked inside the Baytowne Marina Parking Lot, you will walk towards the Tram Stop &amp; Bicycle Rental. From there walk down the dock, there you will see the boat. You will be invited aboard by our Captain. If you parked at the Baytowne Village, walk towards Roberto's Pizza and look for the sign to guide you through and to the boardwalk. Take this boardwalk to the marina dock. Once you are on the marina dock, walk down it to the Sol Y Luna. Please confirm the cruise time at least 24 hours in advance. Boat departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, SunVenture I Destin Cruises, at 850-424-6465.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip the tour guide.

Staying at Sandestin, this trip was convenient to walk to from our hotel. It was the highlight of our week! Captain Morgan and his crew were wonderful and made sure that we had a great time! Even helped us flag down vendors at Crab Island if we needed to buy food and drink.

We rented a double decker boat with double slides for 8 adults and 4 kids. The check in process can be a little stressful so be sure to arrive at least 30 before departure time. The boat was great and spacious. They got us on the water quickly and crab island was awesome. The entire group thought it was the highlight of the trip.

Great experience.  Called ahead to find help locating a pontoon service to accommodate wide range of passengers from kids to grandparents including handicapped accessible.  They made calls and confirmed with the service that all could be accommodated before booking.  Trip was great and Captain Benton was awesome.  Definitely recommend.

We had a fun time, both adults and kids.  Our Captain and his assistant were fun and very accommodating as well.  We also saw a ton of dolphins which the kids loved!  We were able to relax, enjoy the floats, paddle boards, and views.

I would come back and rent again. Everyone was nice, helpful and thorough, keeping me informed. Couple of things I would consider changing…Put the boat operation and safety video on your website, make it easy and available, unable to view it. Once the waiver and the link expires, you can’t go back in make changes or corrections. A staff member sent me the link after request, this saves us both time and money and could be avoided. The video is very helpful and should be readily available and viewed as many times as needed for a first time boat operator or especially an inexperienced boater. Also, I suggest putting the rental insurance options early on and BOLD print, not buried in the fine long winded print. Makes you feel blind sided when you get to the window to pay… people don’t like $$ surprises ($75-$500) A final thought is some of the wording about if staff has to come get the boat “for any reason” is not at all warm and fuzzy felling to the customer. Sometimes boats just break down and have issues out of the control of the customer. Hopefully this is not the case. If so, you should revisit this policy.

We had so much fun at Crab Island, thank you for letting us have a pontoon, to get us there and back. Thank you got allowing us an extra 1/2 hour.  The only drawback was that I didn't reqlize at time of booking that it was 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back.

I booked a pontoon boat rental through TripShock, which apparently acts as an agency for individual rental operators.
When the rental I had chosen fell through, TripShock proactively found an alternate operator and made all the arrangements to switch my booking.
A woman from TripShock called me to let me know what was going on and answered all my questions, and TripShock followed up with e-mails and text messages. They even told me the best place to park near the marina.
Oh, and the rental from the replacement operator turned out to be less expensive than my original booking, so I got a partial refund, too.
Before I started, I was a little wary of booking through an agency instead of contacting individual rental operators directly. But I am so glad I went to TripShock.com. Their web site is a great place to find a lot of offers, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

We signed up with an hour notice since we were in the area with nothing planned. Signing up and payment was easy and then arriving to the location was manageable for us tourist. Donna and Gene were great, the boat ride and time at Crab Island was unforgettable. Loved it!
