Parking: Free parking is available off-site at 513 Harbor Blvd, Destin, Florida 32541 about 200' from departure location. Two vehicles are allowed per boat rental.
Departure Details: This rental departs from 500 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541 which is located on the South side of US Hwy 98 on Destin Harbor across from Taco Bell at 500 Harbor Blvd. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. For any issues, please contact your provider, Sunshine Watersports, at 850-837-2299.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. Great Place to Rent!

We got there early, 30-45 minutes before our reservation & they were very accommodating 
We even ended up extending 2 hours at the end of the day getting 6 hours for a great deal! Will be back in july to do it again

Rent a pontoon for Sunshine pontoon rental! It was our children and ours favorite thing to do on vacation in Destin!!

We ventured out to Crab island(check the tide schedule and go during high tide), but save time to just cruise the water, enjoying the gorgeous water, the sun, and the wind on your hair!!

We had so much fun at Crab Island, thank you for letting us have a pontoon, to get us there and back. Thank you got allowing us an extra 1/2 hour.  The only drawback was that I didn't reqlize at time of booking that it was 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back.

I would come back and rent again. Everyone was nice, helpful and thorough, keeping me informed. Couple of things I would consider changing…Put the boat operation and safety video on your website, make it easy and available, unable to view it. Once the waiver and the link expires, you can’t go back in make changes or corrections. A staff member sent me the link after request, this saves us both time and money and could be avoided. The video is very helpful and should be readily available and viewed as many times as needed for a first time boat operator or especially an inexperienced boater. Also, I suggest putting the rental insurance options early on and BOLD print, not buried in the fine long winded print. Makes you feel blind sided when you get to the window to pay… people don’t like $$ surprises ($75-$500) A final thought is some of the wording about if staff has to come get the boat “for any reason” is not at all warm and fuzzy felling to the customer. Sometimes boats just break down and have issues out of the control of the customer. Hopefully this is not the case. If so, you should revisit this policy.

I would definitely recommend pink pontoons if you're looking to go to crab island or just to site see around the area.

I booked a pontoon boat rental through TripShock, which apparently acts as an agency for individual rental operators.
When the rental I had chosen fell through, TripShock proactively found an alternate operator and made all the arrangements to switch my booking.
A woman from TripShock called me to let me know what was going on and answered all my questions, and TripShock followed up with e-mails and text messages. They even told me the best place to park near the marina.
Oh, and the rental from the replacement operator turned out to be less expensive than my original booking, so I got a partial refund, too.
Before I started, I was a little wary of booking through an agency instead of contacting individual rental operators directly. But I am so glad I went to TripShock.com. Their web site is a great place to find a lot of offers, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

Excellent staff, got us on the water quickly. Our boat was a little dated but an excellent price point and got us out to Crab Island and back safely. WILL rent from them next year. The dock guys work on tips so do them a solid and bring a little extra cash

The boat was great and spacious. They got us on the water quickly and crab island was awesome. The entire group thought it was the highlight of the trip.

From beginning to end, it was PERFECT! Booking with Captain Ron was a breeze. He is extremely thorough and the process was explained very well. Captain Ron did a great job choosing our Captain. Check in process was very slow and the lady in the trailer was not as pleasant or as helpful as she could have been.   The guys by the dock were great and very pleasant and guy on a golf cart was do extremely nice and took our items and one of our friends who had trouble walking down to the dock on the golf cart.
