Check out and check in was super easy. Nice new boat fleet, ran flawlessly. They gave good instructions and directions around the area of places to visit and sites to see. Great experience!

This was my 1st time going to crab island as well as four others with me. I was the driver and wasn’t sure I would be able to do it. However, the young man that assisted me at the dock was patient and made sure I knew what I was doing. We had soo much fun and the weather was perfect. Excited to do this again next year for a longer time. I will recommend them to get a bigger sign. I got a little anxious beca Of being unsure and not able to see where to go. Also, post a no emergency number for first time guests and maybe second time. I got a little turned around on the water but we were able to make it back on time. My experience with Half Day Sunshine Pontoon Rental was very disappointing. The customer service was unfriendly, unprofessional, and at times felt threatening. I had a pontoon boat rental scheduled for 9:40 AM on a rainy day. By 8:00 AM, I had not received any call, text, or update regarding the reservation, so I called them myself. The person who answered seemed unsure about the situation and simply rescheduled my booking to 8:40 AM the next day. A couple of hours later, around 10:00 AM, the weather improved significantly. Since I was leaving the following afternoon and accommodating a morning reservation would be difficult, I called back to ask whether I could be added to the schedule later that same day. The employee showed no interest in helping, abruptly ended the conversation, and offered no alternatives. When I finally went on the trip, the rental was advertised as a 4-hour ride. However, the staff spent about 20 minutes conducting a driving test and completing paperwork after my scheduled time. Once I was given the boat, I was surprised to be told that my rental time had already started according to their schedule and that I would only have about 3 hours and 30 minutes remaining. I had actually arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled reservation time. When I questioned this, I was told that my ride could be canceled. Instead of working with customers, the staff seemed more interested in enforcing their schedule regardless of the circumstances. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and poor value for the money. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of customer service, poor communication, and unfair handling of rental time.

We had an incredible time on the water during our pontoon rental! The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire process. They even let us use their floats for the day, which made our trip to Crab Island extra special!

The guy at the front desk was rude we had to park away from the parking lot and it look like we the only ones that had to everyone else that got off other boats was in company parking lot and down the road across the street I do t understand but the guy who walk us to the boat was nice the guy at the front don’t need to interact with customer need to work on his customer service skills .

Great place to rent a boat. Helpful dock staff and great price!

We loved having our own boat and it’s a beautiful area, Crab Island is great! The problem was that we weren’t allowed to park in the parking lot but had to move our vehicle across the street when there was at least 10-15 open spots. They said a tour was coming. Then when we got our boat, it was nothing like was advertised on line. It was an old, beat-up, rusty boat. The stereo system didn’t work, they gave us a portable speaker, nothing like what is shown on their website. We had a good day but don’t expect a new or nice boat, like everyone on their website. Also be prepared to park across a very busy street because a paying customer isn’t as valuable as a tour group.
