NOLA - Swamp/Plantation Excursion
Traveled to New Orleans to sail on a cruise. Arrived early to experience the New Orleans area. Chose the Swamp/Plantation combo tour and we're very happy we did. Our guide in the swamp from Cajun Pride was beyond excellent. SO INFORMATIVE. We all thought "airboat", but so happy we didn't go that route. The slower traverse gave us more time to experience it all. The plantation was pretty great too. Amazing sights and the background information was enlightening. Only downside......wish there had been more time in both locations. I highly recommend the tour!

Well worth the money
All around a fantastic trip! Our bus driver Big Joe was so knowledgeable and informed us of everything from the best places to eat in town to historic facts about New Orleans and surrounding areas. Capt Tom with the swamp tour was equally amazing, I could take that tour a hundred times and not get bored!! I highly recommend seeing Oak Alley Plantation; it’s so beautiful that you almost can’t believe it’s a real place. I highly recommend taking one of these tours, worth every penny!

Great tour experience and 5 star for big joe too
The tour was arranged very well and about 7 hour as mentioned in description . You could see how to feed alligators and great view in oak alley too.
For big Joe, definitely most reliable driver I have ever seen . He called the day before to confirm where to pick us up and also texted us when he arrived. The same on the return . He also explained very well the history of the city , other places of interest along the trip. I felt like we have visited more than just swamp and plantation !

Combo Swamp Tour and Laura Plantation
We learned a lot on this dual excursion. It was fascinating to tour the swamp and hear the tales of our entertaining boat captain. Alligators rock! The plantation tour was also excellent due to our young, articulate, and informative guide. The only thing I would change is more time on our own in the Laura Plantation museum. It highlighted personal stories from the lives and living conditions of the Laura plantation slaves. We appreciated the historical research.

Cap’n Bishop was awesomeness
We went and got more then we expected, the captain bishop was knowledgeable and funny. We saw so many gators and really has the best time! Highly recommend!!!

Swamp & Plantation Tour
The swamp tour was an amazing experience! Being on the bayou, in all of nature was quite refreshing. The captain was knowledgeable, and thorough in his presentation on the reptiles, vegetation, existing swamp stereotypes and life on the bayou.
Plantation tour presentation was rather boring.

Great family experience!
Although we had to rush through the plantation tour because not having enough time at the end, it was a wonderful experience for our family with varying ages. I would recommend this fun and educational experience.
