Parking: Free parking is available at Luther's Watersports located at 200 Harbor Boulevard E, Destin, FL 32541. 
Departure Details: Rental is located at 200 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. Once parked, walk down to the harbor and check-in at the orange ticket booth for Luther's Watersports. The ticket booth is located behind Dewey Destin's Harborside restaurant. When you arrive, the driver will still have to fill out the manifest for Coast Guard purposes. Be sure that the driver knows who is going to be on the vessel with them. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before scheduled departure. Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. Everything went smoothly with all the paperwork and the staff was very helpful. They helped bring our cooler and items in the boat and took their time explaining everything we needed to know for our mini boat ride. We had a great time! Will definitely come back again.

We had so much fun at Crab Island, thank you for letting us have a pontoon, to get us there and back. Thank you got allowing us an extra 1/2 hour.  The only drawback was that I didn't reqlize at time of booking that it was 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back.

Excellent staff, got us on the water quickly. Our boat was a little dated but an excellent price point and got us out to Crab Island and back safely. WILL rent from them next year. The dock guys work on tips so do them a solid and bring a little extra cash

I would come back and rent again. Everyone was nice, helpful and thorough, keeping me informed. Couple of things I would consider changing…Put the boat operation and safety video on your website, make it easy and available, unable to view it. Once the waiver and the link expires, you can’t go back in make changes or corrections. A staff member sent me the link after request, this saves us both time and money and could be avoided. The video is very helpful and should be readily available and viewed as many times as needed for a first time boat operator or especially an inexperienced boater. Also, I suggest putting the rental insurance options early on and BOLD print, not buried in the fine long winded print. Makes you feel blind sided when you get to the window to pay… people don’t like $$ surprises ($75-$500) A final thought is some of the wording about if staff has to come get the boat “for any reason” is not at all warm and fuzzy felling to the customer. Sometimes boats just break down and have issues out of the control of the customer. Hopefully this is not the case. If so, you should revisit this policy.

I booked a pontoon boat rental through TripShock, which apparently acts as an agency for individual rental operators.
When the rental I had chosen fell through, TripShock proactively found an alternate operator and made all the arrangements to switch my booking.
A woman from TripShock called me to let me know what was going on and answered all my questions, and TripShock followed up with e-mails and text messages. They even told me the best place to park near the marina.
Oh, and the rental from the replacement operator turned out to be less expensive than my original booking, so I got a partial refund, too.
Before I started, I was a little wary of booking through an agency instead of contacting individual rental operators directly. But I am so glad I went to TripShock.com. Their web site is a great place to find a lot of offers, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

We had captain Taylor, though also got to meet captain Chandler too!  Captain Taylor tailored (no pun intended) our trip to exactly what we wanted.  Want to see dolphins… we saw dolphins.  Want snorkel… we snorkeled. Want to paddle board…we went paddle boarding.  He matched the sarcasm to a T with my teenagers and had us just wanting to adopt him as one of ours.   Incredibly courteous, incredibly kind, and impeccably knowledgeable. Truly felt like he was one of our family members.  Will do this again!  Captain Taylor, we’ll try to get you that invitation to my son’s wedding.

This trip was everything we hoped for and more:the perfect adventure for our kids to safely explore the clear waters without worrying about strong waves or riptides.
