We found Tripshock while searching for Gulfarium admission pricing. They had a discounted admission cost.
I booked our visit right before we left Thursday morning, about 3 days prior.
The gulfarium was located right next to the resort that we stayed in for our dinner family getaway. We arrived to the resort Thursday afternoon to begin our fun of sun, beach, pools, and dining out. We had to be checked out of our room by 10 am Sunday so I figured it would be a great opportunity to visit the gulfarium, and we would even have time to see the dolphin show! My kids enjoyed our last zoo visit so I thought aquatic wildlife would be new and exciting.
We could have walked to the Gulfarium, but it was easier to cross the street with all the kids in the van. Wasn't far though.
The staff was very friendly. During the shows they were very informative and you could tell they not only enjoyed the animals, but truly cared about them as well.
My kids were enjoying themselves from the moment we entered and took a family photo! Then we watched the dolphins play before we discovered the aquarium that housed deep sea life. My toddler spotted "Dory" in the big tank instantly and ran off in excitement. All the kids were amazed that they could find each of the "Finding Nemo" cast in that area. There was even a shark!
Next was the dolphin show which was truly amazing. So much personality in each creature! Spotting the alligators and crocs hiding in the water and brush was an interesting challenge for the kids.
The park was easy to navigate and there was so much beautiful wildlife to see! It was kept clean and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. Definitely a great addition to any beach trip!
