The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

It Was Neat to See how the Floats were Made

How did you discover this activity?

I was searching on Google for discounted tickets to Mardi Gras World and came across TripShock.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tickets the same day.

Why did you choose this activity?

We were looking for something in New Orleans to do other than party.

How did you get to the activity location?

We utilized their complementary pick up and drop off.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

I think we could have done a self-guided tour and been fine.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

It was neat to see how the floats are made. If you like arts and crafts you will enjoy this activity. There are several floats to look at. There are old ones and new ones to see, as well.

This is a working studio, so there are floats in different stages of completion. At the end there are costumes to try on and some places for photo ops. You are not allowed to touch the floats or climb on them. I would also like to let you know this tour is in a warehouse, so it may be hot inside.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I did enjoy the tour, it was neat to see how the floats are made.
