How did you discover this activity?

I was trying to find activities for my niece’s first trip to New Orleans, by looking on the map of the area and I saw Mardi Gras World.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked and bought the tickets about 2 weeks before the trip.

Why did you choose this activity?

I’ve been to Mardi Gras a bunch of times and never went to Mardi Gras World. So I thought this would be cool to see the floats up close and being made plus something fun for a first time visitor.

How did you get to the activity location?

The free shuttle picked us up and dropped us off afterwards. It was very clean and spacious.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and described the process very well plus he had a amplified headset so you could hear him.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

My niece had been let down by some of the other tours we took but she really liked this one. She’s never been to Mardi Gras and just telling someone about the parades and floats isn’t the same as seeing them up close. Plus, learning the history of the company and the meanings of the different types of floats was fun. If you like carving, this was a great experience. I have a ton of pictures for some great memories. I’m bringing my husband to see it during our trip in September.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Adults will enjoy this tour but I’m sure kids will light up to see the statues. They are fun and very colorful.
