When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tour about an hour before. We have two little kids so things don’t always go as planned. Our littlest one was worn out from the previous day’s activities so while she napped at the beach house with her grandmother we took our three-year-old on a last-minute dolphin excursion.

Why did you choose this activity?

To celebrate our three-year-old and let her see dolphins.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the Sunny Lady Dolphin Cruise was easy. It’s located just off of canal road at the Warf next to the toll bridge!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain and his deckhands were friendly, knowledgable, and engaging, and kept the vessel very clean!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The highlight of our trip was when our three-year-old was able to have a turn steering the captain’s wheel and they sang happy birthday to her over the PA system while the rest of the passengers sang along. While this happened the dolphins began to jump all the way out of the water for several minutes! Long enough that we were able to stop the boat and admire them. Our excursion was nearing the end of its time so we had to drive off but it was a beautiful experience and my three-year-old had the biggest smile on her face! The vessel was very clean! The top-level and lower levels are shaded and there is an interior cabin that’s air-conditioned as well.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely! There are restrooms on the vessel so that’s nice! Loved having the interior AC room in case you get too hot outside. Not all boats have shade so I loved that this boat had shade on the top and lower levels. There is also a snack bar In case you like me and left your snack for your three-year-old in the car.
