We booked the tour the day before we went on it.

Why did you choose this activity?

We were visiting New Orleans and were interested in a swamp tour.

How did you get to the activity location?

We opted for the shuttle pick up, which was a short walk from our hotel.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

All of the staff, from the shuttle driver to the cashier to the captain, were all great! They were all professional, but fun and personable.

The nicest thing I saw from the staff at Jean Lafitte was when staff transporated a family of five that had missed the boat take off to meet us, so they could still take the tour.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

You can board about 30 minutes prior to your departure time, and the tour started promptly.

Our captain’s name was Brent. He was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and wildlife. He included fun facts about different movies/shows that were filmed there.

He welcomed questions, and he was very personable. He took his time to make sure everyone was able to get the photos and videos they wanted.

The biggest highlight of the tour was being able to hold a baby gator!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this tour to singles, couples, groups, families...everybody! There’s plenty of space, and it appeals to all ages.
