We knew we wanted to visit the Zoo, Aquarium and Insectarium.
On a Google search, TripShock popped up. We got a discount, which was great.

We booked a few weeks before our trip.

Why did you choose this activity?

Our granddaughter requested these activities.

How did you get to the activity location?

I was really glad that we took Uber to the zoo. There is a Magazine St bus stop right by the zoo entrance.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Aquarium was great. Zoo staff was helpful because signage was not easy to understand. Insectarium guard a bit overzealous, but the other staff was great.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We enjoyed the Ocean movie and Katrina movie. The penguin talk at the aquarium was super. We also saw divers feeding the fish and heard a great sea otter talk and demo of behaviors.

Our granddaughter enjoyed the unexpected parakeet area. Great talk at the zoo by the ocelot. We got to watch the female try to catch a lizard.

We arrived early, so it was a quiet, serene walk ahead of the crowds. The Insectarium had millipedes out to touch.

There were lots of exhibits in all three places.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, perfect for a 10-year-old. We did these on three separate days, since the zoo and aquarium are quite a bit of walking.
