We found the trip shock fishing charter on Google when we were booking our Gulf shores vacation.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the trip a week before we arrived.

Why did you choose this activity?

After reading the reviews it seemed like this would be a perfect fishing trip for me and my kids while we were here on our vacation. I saw how we could also see marine life and dolphins and I thought it would be a good deal to take them fishing and see the dolphins.

How did you get to the activity location?

The Bear point harbor was just 10 minutes down the road from our campground and was an easy trip.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain ty was a great captain he made the trip fun and very informative for me and my kids. I’ve been deep sea fishing and lots of other charters but this was the first one I took my kids on I wanted it to be a great experience and it was.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Ty said often in the mornings since we were on the 7:00 a.m. trip you can see dolphins in the bay and sure enough as we were driving out he saw some and stopped the boat. He showed me a neat little trick where he patted the water and was quiet and he said he could hear and feel the sonar from the dolphins as they swam up. We saw several groups of dolphins but the best part was my youngest daughter 11 caught the biggest fish My oldest daughter caught the first fish and my son caught the most fish they all made fun of me because I caught the least. But as the dad I was there for them to let them have a good time and they certainly did!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to try out fishing and a charter with small kids and even up to 17 18-year-old kids like I have.
