The Activity we Experienced
What we chose to do
We Loved Seeing Jumping Dolphins on our Cruise
How did you discover this activity?
We Googled “fun things to do in Orange Beach, AL,” and this was one of the first things that popped up.
When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?
We booked only a few hours before the scheduled departure time.
Why did you choose this activity?
We were looking for something that was nearby and different from other things we had done during other trips to the beach.
How did you get to the activity location?
It was just a quick car ride taking only about 15 minutes from our hotel.
What was your experience with the activity’s staff?
Captain Jeremy was very friendly, knowledgeable about the dolphins and the area, and was nice enough to let my boyfriend drive the boat as a little birthday gift!
Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?
We got to hold the parrot, Lucy, that Captain Jeremy called his co-pilot. The dolphins did so much jumping, allowing for great pictures, and we enjoyed lots of good music and great weather during the hour.
Prior to the cruise, we went to the restaurant that’s right on the pier and had a quick bite to eat and a couple of drinks. All of it was pretty tasty, and it was nice that it was a convenient place to walk to, considering we got there pretty early.
The scenery was really nice, as well, even though it was still a bit cloudy, so we took some photos and people-watched for the time being. Once on the cruise, there were plenty of seats, so we chose up top, which was great for being able to see everything as we cruised along!
Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?
Yes. It’s an inexpensive way to spend the afternoon, and it’s family friendly, so it’s good for literally everybody.
