I found TripShock on google when my husband suggested I search for coupons to the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our general admission tickets about an hour before arriving at the Gulfarium.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and I had never saw a Dolphin or Sea Lion show before. It seemed like a great way to spend the afternoon together and IT WAS!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the Gulfarium was a 5 minute drive from our hotel.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You could ask questions and receive thorough and knowledgeable answers. The trainers were full of information and spirit while making us laugh during the shows.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

I was so excited to see the dolphins! The general admission gave you access to all of the shows and exhibits but I really wanted to get up close to the dolphins. The Gulfarium offered, for an additional fee, the opportunity to do just that! It was called Dolphin Splash. Since my husband and I were on our honeymoon, he agreed to buy me a ticket and bring a lifelong dream of mine to life.

We were able to enter the tank with the dolphins, accompanied by a trainer. The trainer brought over one dolphin for us to touch, feed and play with while educating us about the dolphins. It lasted for about 20 minutes. I would have stayed in that tank all day, if allowed. It was a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I highly recommend going to the Gulfarium. It’s educational and great fun for people of all ages!
