We found TripShock on Google when we were searching for discounts for an activity we wanted to do. We found a much better deal through TripShock, and the experience was great! We had no troubles booking through them, and they were so quick to send our confirmation and our ticket vouchers.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tour just a few days before, maybe 3-4 days prior!

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband had great recommendations to go on the Steamboat Natchez through his co-workers, and it really sounded like something fun and that we would truly enjoy together!

How did you get to the activity location?

We could’ve walked about 15 minutes from our hotel in the Central Business District, but that morning we were running tight on time. So, instead of the walk, we decided to catch a Lyft, and it only took about 7-8 minutes driving time. We were dropped off right at the entrance which was wonderful!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Everyone was so friendly and had especially wonderful customer service, from the ticket booth, to the photo area, and everyone on the boat! I think most of the staff had been doing it a while, so they really loved it and loved interacting with the customers!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The Engine Room was the highlight of the whole experience for us! My husband works on the river, so this was something we both thoroughly enjoyed seeing so much of! As soon as we boarded, we found the Engine Room first and were in awe of how it worked.

The sights were beautiful for me, as well as all of the great history presented in the tour! My husband sees this all very often working on the river. It was nice to sit back and enjoy such a beautiful day on the boat and learn so many things! The jazz musicians were also truly exceptional!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, definitely! I think everyone visiting NOLA would love this tour ride on the Steamboat Natchez! It really fits so many different audiences, since it’s such a great attraction!
