How did you discover this activity?

I follow a Facebook page for travelers to Myrtle Beach and someone mentioned dolphin cruises. So, I Googled it and came across TripShock which had tickets for a great price.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked about 30 days in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

It’s hard finding activities that my large family will all enjoy. We have adults down to infants and there are eight of us total. This was something that we all could enjoy, and that could easily accommodate our group size.

How did you get to the activity location?

The harbor was just a 10 minute drive from our condo.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Everyone was friendly and the ride went as expected. It was fun, exciting, and we did find the dolphins, lots of them! We couldn’t have been more pleased.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We enjoyed the entire experience. There is not a bad seat on the boat! They don’t overload passengers, so there was plenty of space. The staff was wonderful and gave us a fun ride out. There were some choppy waters and the boat rocked, but not too much, just enough to be exciting and fun!

We found dolphins fairly easily. At first there were just three, but then we found groups of them. There must have been at least 20! They came right up to the boat, it was great. We had plenty of time for pictures, and then on the way back we got some big splashes and got wet, which felt great.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, it’s great for groups. They seat you as groups, and can accommodate large families - fun for all ages!
