The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

The Dolphin Show was our Favorite Part

How did you discover this activity?

When I was looking at booking excursions for my family, I came upon the Gulfarium, and I was so excited to go. We got there just right at opening time, and we had an awesome time. The dolphin show was fantastic, and my 12-year-old loved the interactive part where she got to pick up the starfish. I really liked how well the trainers cared about the animals.

It was on the beach, and you got to see lots of beautiful scenery from the perch at the alligator enclosure. There was lots for every family member, and even a handicapped elevator to get to the dolphin show. They also had a snack bar where you could buy souvenir cups, reasonably priced, I might add. I would recommend going early before it gets hot, because some of it is outside.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked two weeks ahead.

Why did you choose this activity?

I mainly booked to see the dolphin show, but it was all great!

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove a short drive from the Sandestin Golf Resort.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff were friendly and seemed to genuinely care for the animals.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The experience at the Gulfarium was the best. We all enjoyed the show, and had the most fun. The dolphin show was the highlight for me, but there was lots for others in my group to do. It took us a few hours to do everything, but we weren’t in any rush.

I also liked the gift shop, they had some cute stuff. Kids will love looking at the beach, the alligators, and the sea turtles. They did had some sharks. It was an awesome experience for everyone!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I think this would work for all age groups. We didn’t have small children, but there were some there, and they seemed worn out by the time it was over. They did have handicap accessible features, as well.
