We had a good experience with the staff.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

It was a fun day at the zoo for all. After navigating the road construction, we arrived at the zoo, in the rain. We were hopeful that the rain would have cooled off the temperature, and that the animals would be a little more lively. After donning our ponchos, we headed in.

Not only was it still raining, but the temperature had indeed dropped, and the animals were loving it! Several even put on a show for us, as if to say, “hey, watch this!” Although a few of the exhibits were closed for maintenance or upgrades, the other were in great shape and very much alive. The new lion exhibit is a great one, even though the male was a little shy and stayed hidden. This is a great place to spend the day with family or friends!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Absolutely! It’s a good location, price, and venue. There are lots of exhibits, including some new ones.
