I found TripShock on Google after searching for things to do in New Orleans. I found a great deal on a dinner jazz cruise that my group wanted do.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the tour a week prior to going.

Why did you choose this activity?

This cruise was something everyone in our group could do despite various age groups and abilities, and it allowed everyone to get a taste of New Orleans.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the ship was easy and located conveniently. We got there on foot from the French Quarter, but you could take a street car, cab, or rickshaw to get there.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The ship’s staff was very friendly, and there were many people around to help.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We loved the dinner cruise. The food was good and abundant, the music provided a soft jazzy atmosphere, the view was fantastic of the city skyline and other ships, the volume was great to be able to have dinner conversation, and the dining room was very nice.

Some in our group didn’t want to move around the ship, so they were able to sit cozy in the dining area looking out one of the many windows. Others wanted to go to the top deck and get a fantastic view of the city and the water.

There are many opportunities for great photos!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This is a must do when visiting New Orleans. It is a unique experience and worked well for our group of different ages and abilities. Everyone loved it.
