The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

The Steamboat Natchez Jazz Cruise is a Win-Win

How did you discover this activity?

While searching online (Google) for things to do while in NOLA, I came across TripShock offering reservations for this cruise.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the cruise the day before we went.

Why did you choose this activity?

Knowing that New Orleans is built on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River, I wanted to seize the opportunity to learn more about how the river contributes to the culture and economic stability of the Crescent City, but I got SOOO much more than I anticipated! I had an AMAZING time!

How did you get to the activity location?

I was staying in the French Quarter, so getting to the boarding locale was just a 4-block walk.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The servers were so helpful and kind! My husband left his backpack inside when we went out on the deck. Our server had put it aside for him, because she remembered that he had it with him when he came in to have lunch.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The cruise was smooth, the narration was informative and interesting, and the staff was incredibly nice. The tour of the steamboat, including the steam engine room, really adds authenticity to the cruise and the history of the steamboat. It would make a FANTASTIC fieldtrip!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This cruise would be great for families, couples, and large groups. It is definitely a WIN-WIN!
