How did you discover this activity?

We googled dolphin tours around our destination and selected the Tripshock site. There were a few options and we chose the one we felt would best suit our family.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about 3 weeks in advance and there was plenty of availability.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband and wanted to take our children on a boat tour. Our sons are 7 and 2. This was their first trip to the beach and we wanted it to be memorable for them.

How did you get to the activity location?

It was about a 30-minute car ride from our hotel. The location is near North Myrtle Beach and we were staying in South Myrtle Beach. The ride over was fairly quick.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

They were knowledgeable of the area. We were pressed for time on the ride there, but they called to confirm our attendance. The meet-up shack was kind of small, but they were helpful in helping us navigate the correct area.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The views were amazing, and the hosts were knowledgeable about the area. There was a lighthouse the children enjoyed. There are many boats out of the water including a casino. From the car ride down to the unloading of the boat, the tour was enjoyable. There was even a photographer on the deck that took your picture when you got on board. By the time the tour ended, the photos were ready for purchase. They were plagued beautifully.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes. It was a family-friendly tour. My children enjoyed it. The host had a great attitude.
