We found TripShock through Facebook while looking for fun things to do near Gulf Shores, AL. They had a great deal on a dolphin cruise for our family.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked about a month in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

I love dolphins and always wanted to see them in their natural habitat, and our children love going to the beach. We thought this would be a really fun adventure for them to get to go out on a big boat and find dolphins.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the excursion location was very easy, and just a 15-minute drive from where we were staying.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was amazing! The captain was very knowledgeable and fun. He let the kids take turns driving the boat at the end of the cruise. He also had a parrot that everyone got to hold. The crew was so nice and accommodating to everyone!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

This trip was so much more than we expected. The adults and children alike had a blast. To see dolphins so close that you can see the color of their bellies was so cool! This was, hands-down, the highlight of our vacation.

Watching the dolphins jump over waves and swim beside the boat for almost an hour was so exciting! We went in the middle of July, and it was HOT, but the boat had air conditioning, and the breeze kept us cool and comfortable.

The children got to drive the boat and be “captain” during the trip, and we all got to hold Lucy the Parrot! It was a trip we would definitely do again!

This tour is perfect for everyone, and we highly recommend it for families with children of all ages!
