The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

We loved the White Alligator at the Zoo

How did you discover this activity?

I found TripShock on Google when I searched for Audubon zoo tickets. I looked at all the online tickets and compared the prices. TripShock had the best prices.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the tickets a few hours before we arrived.

Why did you choose this activity?

I am a local and have always enjoyed going to the zoo for fun. It’s especially nice when it’s spring, right before it gets really hot outside.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove across the causeway bridge to get to the south shore.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the animals there. They are all very educated.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

There were many exhibits that were stand outs. The Louisiana swamp is completely unique to the Audubon Zoo. They had all kinds of local animals to observe. They even had a white alligator!

The food at the Cypress Cafe, located in the Louisiana Swamp, exceeded expectations as well. It was much more than your usual “amusement park” meal of hot dogs and hamburgers.

Another standout exhibit was the African Safari Savanna. They had an awesome exhibit of giraffes with a viewing area.

Monkey hill is also a great place to bring the kids to roll down the hill and splash around.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would absolutely recommend this activity. It is fun for all ages. There are activities for both children and adults.
