This cruise was great, the staff was very nice and gave us some intel about the properties around us. Mark was our captain and Jessica was our mate. Jessica did a really good job at keeping the kids busy as we were searching for dolphins before beginning our search for the mermaids. Mark
was really great at keeping everyone informed of the properties and driving the boat of course. It was nice to learn about these multi million dollar homes as a adult. lol. So, we went searching for dolphins first and then the captain said he got word of some mermaids, so we headed over to the spot. There was many kids on this tour. Jessica told the kids about seashells and how mermaids needed them to survive. Once docked, we all got off the boat by ladder. There is no dock so you do get in the water and the beach has some sticks and hermit crabs in the water… So i would highly recommend water shoes. The kids LOVE IT! Would highly recommend for kids ages 3-10. They also give you cute certificates at the end!
This was a very cute experience, I can see this being a hit with the little ones! The mermaids were never out of character, deckhands were awesome and the overall experience was very unique and enjoyable.
In our family, we love all things nautical and of course that includes mermaids! After seeing an advertisement online, we booked and were emailed and texted confirmations really fast. Upon arrival, we parked for free in their parking lot and made our way down to the tiki hut on the bay to check in. Once checked in, we headed over to the boat. It's a super clean covered boat, kind of like a big pontoon with tables and booth style seating. And a bathroom! When the tour started we got to hear the story of the mermaids then cruised our way around the bay seeing a sea turtle and some dolphins! The kids on our boat spotted the mermaids first and they were so fun to talk to. The kids all brought them sea shells and posed for pics with them. I would reccamend watershoes since there are some areas I walked thru the water and stepped on sticks and shells. The mermaids showed off their fin waving skills and played with all the kids. Our group hasn't stopped talking about it and we hope to bring more of our family soon!
