We Googled things to do in Gulf Shores. When I found the Mermaid tour, I knew I had to book this unique tour for my daughter!

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our tour two days before, while we were on our way to Gulf Shores.

Why did you choose this activity?

My 8-year-old daughter loves mermaids. How wonderful she would be able to meet them in person!

How did you get to the activity location?

The marina was about 10 minutes away from our beach house. It was very easy to find!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain and firstmate were very knowledgeable. They pointed out a lot of landmarks and chatted with everyone on the tour.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

My daughter loved getting up close and swimming with the mermaids! They took their time, and were very patient with each child.

They found shells together, they taught them how to swim like a mermaid, and they answered the millions of questions each little one had!

Parents got to watch from the boat or in the water. The kids were completely safe and watched by everyone. My daughter said it was the best time of our whole trip. We made wonderful memories she will cherish forever!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

This is a great trip for families. I would say it’s appropriate for children under ten.
