The Activity we Experienced

What we chose to do

Tearing Up while the Band Played

How did you discover this activity?

We discovered this activity after seeing TripShock advertisements.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked it two days before. We definitely recommend booking in advance.

Why did you choose this activity?

We chose it because of the notoriety of the Natchez, and it looked like a cool afternoon activity.

How did you get to the activity location?

We were able to just walk there.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

They were so delightful! We had a baby, and they seated us without having to stand in line for lunch.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

It was an amazing afternoon with my two grown girls and our first grandson. The event was organized and incredibly outstanding.

The breeze was delightful, and we learned even more about New Orleans history while sitting on the deck of the steamboat.

During the luncheon, the band played old time Jazz. At one point, I teared up when they played “What A Wonderful Life.”

My daughter remarked several times that her “Mom Mom” would have loved this event.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

We would most definitely recommend it. It was great for kids and adults.

The cool breeze on the deck of the steamboat was refreshing. My grandson Ooohed and Ahhhed and smiled the entire time while sitting outside.

During the luncheon my grandson especially enjoyed the red beans and rice. He had two helpings and smiled the entire time he was eating.

The beer was cold and reasonably priced. The line to the buffet went quickly, and the food was great.
