How did you discover this activity?

We found TripShock through a google search for charter fishing in Destin. After some browsing, we chose Executive Saltwater Charters.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our charter 1 day prior to the trip; as we drove to the Emerald coast.

Why did you choose this activity?

My husband has always wanted to deep sea fish; catch some big ones! He’s currently battling stage iv hepatic cancer! Happy to say…Executive Saltwater Charters did not disappoint. It was an absolutely perfect day!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the Two Georges marina in Shalimar was a quick 7-minute drive! We meet the captain and crew at C dock.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Barry was very knowledgeable of the waters, putting us in fish, and teaching us how to land the big ones! Conner, his deckhand, and his son were very attentive and knowledgeable of marine life. They were really great company and we were at ease right from the start.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

As an avid Bass fisherman; it was memorable that Capt Barry is an FLW bass tour champion. We were in good company with a professional fisherman. Landing behemoth Red Snapper, Amberjack, and taking home black snapper, triggerfish, and Bonita was an added bonus. Conner, the deckhand, graduated with a degree in Marine biology, his knowledge of sea life, especially sharks, was fascinating. At one point a large red snapper was hooked and when it landed in the boat, half of the fish had been bitten off. It was quite the experience.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would highly recommend this charter to any husband/wife team. We had a wonderful time
