We found TripShock on Google while trying to look for the best fishing deals for our upcoming beach vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked 3 weeks before our vacation started.

Why did you choose this activity?

My boyfriend and his family love fishing, but have never been out at sea in a boat to fish. This looked like it would be a great beginner trip for everyone.

How did you get to the activity location?

We traveled together and our trip to the marina was about 30 minutes away from our rented beach house.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain and the deckhands were amazing. They worked their hearts out the entire trip.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We were all new to deep sea fishing, and many of us had never been on a boat. One child in our group got sea sick, so bring dramamine for future trips. Some of our party knew about this and took meds before, others did not.

We went to several fishing spots where some got many and some got no fish. By the last fishing spot, however, everyone got a fish on their line in our party. We met the fish allowances for the Outcast before our time was up and made our way back to shore. Everyone in our group caught a fish! That was the reason we went out and it made everyone happy.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes! It was a great first experience for all of us. I would recommend the trip to any beginners wanting to do deep sea fishing from a boat!
