How did you discover this activity?

We live about 80 miles from New Orleans and had some company from out of state that has never been to New Orleans before, and we thought taking them to the zoo would be perfect! After searching online for information, we discovered you can get your admission tickets online for a cheaper cost. The site took us straight to TripShock, which was an easy site to navigate.

We bought our tickets that morning and 2 hours later we were enjoying our day!

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted something not too costly and something that we can do at our own pace. Plus, we love animals!

We drove 80 miles from home to New Orleans.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The zoo had workers throughout that gave you information about each exhibit and answered questions. They were very knowledgeable!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We actually got to spend some quality, family time together with some of the family that we only get to see once a year. We got to see animals that we have never seen before, it gave use a chance to get out of the house and soak up a little sunshine before the next rain storms moved in.

Also, while one of us has health issues, we were able to do the visit on our own pace without a tour guide, and the zoo also had many water fountains throughout, which made beautiful backgrounds for pictures! They also had small vendors throughout zoo where you can buy cold drinks which includes fresh squeezed lemonade.

We also enjoyed a few indoor exhibits where you can also cool down in the air conditioning. There is also plenty of shading throughout the walkways.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

It was close to home and an affordable family activity where you can get some sunshine and exercise while enjoying God’s creations!
