We booked about six hours before on the same day.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to see more of the Quarter and hear about the history. I was not able to walk everywhere, so we decided a carriage tour would be a good way to see the area.

How did you get to the activity location?

We took an Uber to the Quarter and walked to the pickup spot.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Our driver was funny and engaging, and told us a lot of interesting historical facts about the French Quarter.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

What made the trip memorable was the easy manner in which our driver took us through the French Quarter. For an hour, he drove us around the area as he told us about the history of New Orleans. We learned about the different styles of architecture in the area and the reasons for it.

We were also told stories about the after effects of Hurricane Katrina, and shown areas where the damage can still be seen. It was a beautiful sunny day; perfect weather for a carriage ride!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this carriage tour to anyone visiting New Orleans’ French Quarter!
