How did you discover this activity?

We found TripShock on Google back in 2016 while searching for activities in Gulf Shores, and have been using TripShock ever since.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked our activity a couple of weeks before our trip this time, but I’ve also had a last minute thought of an activity and have been able to book the day before with the same peace of mind as if I’d have plenty of time.

Why did you choose this activity?

We chose the dolphin tour because my grandson loves everything associated with the ocean. I knew he’d enjoy dolphins and the reviews for Sunny Lady Dolphin Tour were great. I wanted to ensure we’d spot dolphins and that the captain and crew were knowledgeable.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to where the boat was departing from was a quick 10 minute drive from where we were staying. The directions were simple. We even received a courtesy call from them making sure we were still coming and that we didn’t need any help with directions.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain and crew were amazing! They knew their stuff. We were given interesting facts on dolphins as well as other ocean life, and birds. The first mate handed out Cheetos to feed the birds and even helped us hold our hands out while the birds came and ate right out of our hands. My grandson got a kick out of that. The Captain was ready with props and all for the kiddos on board to go take pictures driving the boat. That was the highlight of my grandsons day. They made the experience smooth and fun!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Just knowing that every year we have this experience to look forward to makes planning our vacations so exciting. Our family looks forward to this part of the trip most. We’ve created many amazing memories aboard The Sunny Lady Dolphin Tour. From taking pictures in the Captains seat to chatting with a parrot, having dolphins surf behind the boat, to learning about local home and yacht owners from the Captain. We can’t wait to create more. We started taking this tour when my grandson was 6 months old and he’s about to turn 5. We go at least once a year, but usually twice a year. He talks about every single one.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I highly recommend booking this tour for your family vacation, a first date, or for any occasion. It’s totally worth it. We saw dolphins, laughed, bonded, learned a thing or two and even got a little hands-on with the Captains Parrot.
