We found TripShock when we googled the Gulfarium. I have a friend who had gone to it before.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to see the animals up close.

How did you get to the activity location?

We took the short drive from our condo to the Gulfarium.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

They were very knowledgeable about the animals during the shows.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We started at the dolphin show and were able to see the dolphins up close. We arrived right before the show started, so we were standing near the platform where the show took place - the view was perfect. All the kids were able to see too because there was a net that they could see through. It started raining while the show was going on but we stayed pretty dry because it was covered.

We enjoyed the aquarium and all the animals outside. Vivi got to hold a macaw and have her picture taken; A very cool experience. We saw sharks and alligators and lots of other animals. My daughter loves the penguins- she is 13 months old and was standing eye to eye with them! The sea lion show was a lot of fun! We really enjoyed the whole day!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with kids. Our kids were able to see the animals up close- much better than looking for dolphins from a boat or hotel window. They could actually see them - even the baby.

All the animals were out for us to see except the otters were gone after the sea lion show, my seven year old was sad about that. Otters are his favorite. If your kids love animals (don’t they all?) this is definitely worth the money.

Get to the shows a little early so you can have good seats. And take something for the seats in case it rains. we had wet bottoms at the sea lion show after the rain.
