When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We were able to book our tour the day before which was wonderfully convenient since the six of us had a hard time deciding what we wanted to do. Tripshock made the booking process blissfully easy.

Why did you choose this activity?

Our group ranged in age from 3 to 69 years old. The dolphin tour was something we could all agree on and have fun doing.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove directly to the marina where the boat was docked and loaded the boat at the marina. The beach traffic was a bit heavy which meant that we left home about 45 minutes earlier than the GPS indicated we would need to. Good thing , too. We got there about 20 minutes prior to launch.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The captain was witty with his ongoing commentary while we were in route to where the dolphins were. The crew at the bar was pleasant and efficient. I even answered one of the captain’s trivia questions correctly and won a free drink!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

While we were waiting to board the boat, we took family pics at the marina. Our little ones were fascinated by the big boats and the fish we could see dockside. After a brief, sometimes humorous, review of safety precautions and expectations, we boarded and got life jackets for our little ones (age 7 and under). While underway, the captain kept us entertained with his witty commentary and pointing out places of interest and homes of celebrities. However, seeing the family of dolphins swimming alongside the boat chasing after free food from the local fishermen made everything just perfect for us.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would recommend this activity for anyone wanting a family outing that is different and affordable. It came in at around $200 with tip for our family of six.
