Nice romantic way to spend the afternoon!
My wife and I declined the tour and went out by ourselves. The cat boat is a great way to enjoy the bay. The AL side requires trolling speeds which is great for checking out all the nice bayside houses. Once you cross over in FL, you can open up to full speed. That's fun as well. There was also an air show going on so we watched six jets put on a great display. Then we rounded the northern side of the island and came back, never getting wet (except for feet). At about 90 minutes we were ready to turn it in. Lots of fun and great for couples. If you brought swimsuits there were a few sandbars that you could stop at to swim. But we preferred staying dry. Ken was the owner of this operation and was very hospitable and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
