Saturday May 23rd kicks off the start to The Village of Baytowne Wharf's Memorial Day 2015 festivities. At 7pm, catch Nashville's Farewell Angelina on the Events Plaza stage in the center of the Village. There is plenty of room to lay in the grass, or set up a chair or two and enjoy the music until it comes to an end at 9pm. After the show, stick around and experience world-class nightlife at one of Baytowne Wharf's famous bars and clubs including Rum Runners, Funky Blues Shack, and The Village Door.

Saturday night's band, Farewell Angelina, is a beyond-talented four-piece hailing from Nashville, TN. The group consists of Nicole Witt, Elizabeth Elkins, Andrea Young, and Lisa Torres. Each member an award-winning musician in her own right, Farewell Angelina delivers a passionate kick of dynamic vocal harmonies to the backdrop of expertly-played modern country instrumentals. Having shared the stage with country's biggest names including Loretta Lynn, Farewell Angelina knows how to entertain a crowd, and is expected to deliver an amazing show at The Village of Baytowne Wharf's Memorial Day celebration. The Memorial Day concert will be a stop on their current tour that is taking the band through the American Southeast in promotion of their soon-to-be-released EP "Farewell Angelina"! Sunday night of Baytowne Wharf's Memorial Day 2015 celebration brings kid friendly activities from 6pm - 9pm in the events plaza. For the adults, local favorites Coconut Radio will be performing a blend of Caribbean and American music. Let the kids enjoy games, rides, and fun activities while you kick back and relax to the sounds of Steve Reeths and Sue Kittredge of Coconut Radio on the Events Plaza stage from 7pm - 9pm! But once the games are over and the music stops at 9pm, don't leave or you'll miss the most magnificent part of the night! The Village of Baytowne Wharf Memorial Day Fireworks Show will begin at 9:15pm, capping off the Sunday night festivities with Miramar Beach's premier pyrotechnics.

Monday is of course the date of Memorial Day 2015. Expect a busy day in The Village of Baytowne Wharf with shops, restaurants, and activities full of fun-loving families. Monday brings visitors a very special program presented by the Sandestin Veterans. The Emerald Coast has a strong military presence, playing host to multiple military bases and installations from Panama City to Pensacola, FL.
