We booked the tour three days out.

Why did you choose this activity?

It was an anniversary fishing trip. My husband had been asking me to go fishing every year for the last part 11 years of our marriage. I decided to venture out and book the fishing trip.

How did you get to the activity location?

We drove from new Orleans.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The crew was very engaging and assisted with guiding me through the technique of fishing on a boat.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The big red snapper I caught, but had to throw back because of Florida fishing regulations. My husband got sea sick and I didn’t, so funny. The other guest on the boat were friendly.

The crew was amazing. They were there to help out with the fishing experience. The equipment was more than adequate and in good working condition. The time of the trip was perfect. The cleaning of the fish was an excellent feature to give to the customers. The restaurants on the dock were very accommodating to cook some of your catch. I never felt unsafe while on the boat. Overall, it was the best experience for fishing.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Yes, I would definitely recommend taking the fishing charter trip with Olin Marler. The Captain was very knowledgeable of where the fish would be gathering and everyone walked away with plenty of fish.
