How did you discover this activity?

We asked friends on social media for some ideas of cool things to do while in Destin. When we went to make a reservation, it took us to TripShock, and we booked our sunset dolphin cruise.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We actually booked and went on our tour the same day.

Why did you choose this activity?

We booked the sunset dolphin cruise because we had several friends tell us about what a fun time it was!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the area wasn’t too bad, but it was a busy time, so we had to park quite a distance away and cross a busy street, but it wasn’t real bad. There was a golf cart to take us right up to the boat we were boarding.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

All the staff members were awesome from the phone call making sure we weren’t having trouble getting there, to the guys on the boat. There was complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks, and there was someone walking around always to make sure no one went without.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We had such an awesome experience on our Sea Blaster Sunset Dolphin Cruise! We were almost late getting there, but no one was frustrated with us at all about it (and if you deal with the public like I do, it’s sometimes easy to get frustrated when people are running late!).

It had been rainy and stormy that day, but it was like the clouds parted just for us! We left the Harbor and out into the Gulf we went. In no time, we were seeing dolphins swimming up out of the water. The view from out there was amazing!

The crew was making sure everyone had drinks and encouraging everyone to get up and move around on the boat. I’m a smoker and there was a spot on the boat to smoke and I didn’t feel like anyone was bothered by it (I try always to make sure I’m not bothering anyone!). I honestly don’t think anyone besides the 3 girls next to me even knew I smoked.

There was a great mix of music playing, but it was never like you couldn’t have a conversation with those next to you. They let the kids do a little driving, which I thought was super cool. This cruise was definitely one of my favorite parts of our vacation, and I would totally recommend it, and would for sure do it again! For a moment I forgot that real life back home even existed!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

Honestly, I have already recommended this cruise to everyone I’ve talked to since getting back home, and I cannot think of any reason why everyone wouldn’t enjoy it!
