We found out about AJ’s dolphin cruise by researching online and trying to find which cruise would best suite our family.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our cruise a few days before, while finalizing our vacation details.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to do something special as a family while we were in Destin. It was my husband’s birthday, and it was a perfect way to end the day!

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the harbor was a quick drive from our condo. We had already spent a lot of time near AJ’s, enjoying the area, so we were familiar with where to go.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

Captain Nick was amazing. He was very attentive and personable. He was so fun and super informative about things around the Destin area.

Captain Nick let the kids steer the boat, and was very enthusiastic about the dolphins, God’s creation, and made the trip an incredible experience! His ship mate, Cody, was equally as fun and pleasant. We would sail again with them if had the opportunity!

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

The experience far exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed complimentary beverages while listening to informative narrative about various Destin landmarks. We all fed the seagulls from our hands while sailing. That alone was a pleasant surprise.

We saw several pods of dolphins and they really showed off for us, swimming along side of our boat and jumping in and out of waves for quite a long time. That was a memory we will not forget!

The kids had the opportunity to steer the boat and get their picture with the captain. Towards the end of the cruise, the sunset was seriously one of the best we’ve ever seen. It was perfect.

We even sang together and danced together! This is the dolphin cruise for you. They do a superb job! Don’t forget to tip your captains!
