How did you discover this activity?

After searching the web for fun things to do, we decided to visit Crab Island, and also hopefully see some dolphins. The web search directed me to the TripShock site.

Rather than booking online, I called the number directly, since we had a party of 14. I wanted to ensure that we were getting boats from the same location, and that it was close to Crab Island. The lady assisting me on the phone was very helpful.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

We booked our excursion just a few days before our activity.

Why did you choose this activity?

We wanted to do something fun with the entire family, and thought the kids would enjoy the boat time.

How did you get to the activity location?

Getting to the harbor was about 8 miles from our condo in Miramar Beach. The staff was kind enough to tell us not to park in the wrong places, or your car could get towed. We moved our cars to ensure we came back without this distraction!

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The staff was highly attentive to our needs. They provided a wagon, and helped us haul our coolers to the boat. We even came back to the dock for a potty break (though we could’ve gone to Margaritaville), and they were kind and helped us get to and from the facilities. They gave us specific instructions on where the dolphins might be, as well.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

We loved the clean, beautiful boats, and we highly recommend this for a relaxing day on the water. We didn’t see any dolphins today, but we fed the birds and the kids loved watching them swoop down to grab the crackers from the air!

Pack plenty of snacks, we sort of under-packed thinking the food boats would be open on Crab Island. It was a little cold to go swimming, but we loved watching the parasails and birds. The ice cream boat was a fun treat, it was $4.00 for an ice cream, but they were big and the kids loved them!

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

It was relaxing, and there was no time crunch, just chilling, and 4 hours is plenty of time if you have little ones. They were ready to be done after a few hours; the boat made them sleepy! We loved the peaceful day!
