How did you discover this activity?

I found TripShock on Google while searching for dolphin activities to do in Destin. I saw they were having a sale on parasailing experiences as well as a snorkel/dolphin seeing tour. The parasailing took me by surprise as it wasn’t originally what I was looking for but it was so worth it. The whole family had fun doing both activities.

When did you book your tour compared to the departure date?

I booked the tour a couple of weeks before the trip.

Why did you choose this activity?

I’ve always wanted to see dolphins and my husband wanted to scuba dive. We compromised with the snorkel experience and both had lots of fun.

How did you get to the activity location?

It was approximately a 15min drive from the house we were staying to the ticket booth. Both vendors were awesome. One stayed with me on the phone because we were running late and she wanted to be sure we found our way all right.

What was your experience with the activity’s staff?

The Captain of the snorkel/dolphin tour was super entertaining. He was funny and laid back. The crew reminded my kids of the Outer Banks actors. They played music too which kept the mood super chill. The parasailing crew was amazing. It was a scary experience (for a few of us) but they put us at ease. There was a storm cloud and the Captain made sure it was completely safe before we went up and warned us we might not be able to for safety. I appreciated the candidness.

Highlights or memories you and your group will take from the trip?

Oh my gosh! Every single moment was an experience I’ll remember. However, if I had to take away one from each it would be actually being up in the air able to see water all around. That was amazing. Then on the dolphin tour getting to see the two dolphins, although briefly, was awesome. I think the Captain stayed out longer than usual to make sure we saw something before going back in, which says a lot.

Would you recommend this activity to another group like yours? Why or why not?

I would most definitely recommend these activities to any family who wants to have fun. They are both unique experiences with experienced guides who are there to make sure you have fun. At least that’s how I felt.
